The Problem

This is a maintenance clean for a long term repeat window cleaning client. Originally they just had their window done yearly, but thats evolved into a multi year maintenance package keeping their property in tip top shape.Wet season had done them no favours on their lovely home, and made their driveway an absolute death trap. Previous contractors before I took over had struggled with not only the size of the driveway but also lack of access as its almost 90m from the road to the bottom shed and the hill is so slippery a 4wd is required to get down there.

What We Did

No problem at all for us. I like to carry way more hose that I need for just these occasions. Because it was after wet season and the organics take a hold quickly, a heavy pretreat was used not only to break down the algae growths to allow lower pressures to be used. Doing it this way actually costs more money for the business in consumables but lowers the risk of damage to any surfaces, so its a small price to pay for piece of mind. Also got a little bit carried away and soft washed their lovely sandstone stairways .

The Results

Clients were wrapped, their driveway was the back to looking like new. Its become a yearly tradition now with their windows, and we add in a house wash every 2 years to keep everything tip top.
